The winner of BBC Cardiff Singer of the World 2005 is Nicole Cabell. |

The Final took place on Sunday 19 June in St David's Hall, Cardiff.
The BBC National Orchestra of Wales accompanied the singers, with the same conductors as each singer's preliminary concert. This means that Carlo Rizzi conducted for Daria Masiero, Nicole Cabell and Luis Olivares Sandoval; Grant Llewellyn for Andrew Kennedy and Ralf Weikert for Wendy Dawn Thompson.
 The concert is supported by the Wales Tourist Board.
