Members of the jury shared their wisdom and experience with some of the singers not taking part in Sunday's Final, and with students at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama.
There were four sessions, held on Saturday 18 June: two in the New Theatre, Cardiff and two at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama.
New Theatre, Cardiff
- Dame Kiri Te Kanawa with German soprano Susanne Braunsteffer and Italian baritone Davide Bartolucci; and Håkan Hagegård with Romanian baritone Serban Vasile and Swiss soprano Olga Kindler
- Marilyn Horne with Canadian soprano Sasha Djihanian and Welsh tenor John Pierce; and Dennis O'Neill with Chilean soprano Marcela Gonzalez and US soprano Leah Crocetto
Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama
- Bengt Forsberg with Irish mezzo-soprano Maire Flavin followed by singing students from the college accompanied by pianists from the college
- John Fisher with Australian mezzo-soprano Helen Sherman followed by singing students from the college accompanied by Gary Matthewman
