Here was a chance to vote for your favourite singer in 2009.

In addition to the prizes awarded by the jury for each of the competitions, there was an Audience Prize voted for by the public. This was be the fourth time the award has been given.

The winner of the 2009 Audience Prize was Giordano Lucà from Italy. Watch the moment he was awarded the prize.
