Kostas Smoriginas was born in Vilnius, Lithuania, and studied at the vocal department of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre with Professor Vladimiras Prudnikovas.

His roles have included Pizzaro Fidelio, Dandini La Cenerentola and Tomsky The Queen of Spades in Riga, and Melitone La forza del destino in Vilnius. Future engagements include Masetto Don Giovanni in Norway.

He has won several competitions for young singers in Vilnius, Lithuania, and won second prize in the Jazep Vitol Competition in Riga, Latvia.

Kostas enjoys the new technologies, as well as fishing, reading and theatre.
