Rest Bay Lifeguards

By Chris Page
24 October 2007, Porthcawl
Duration: 09:53

Pamela Anderson made it look so easy! But in the often freezing water of the South Wales coast, it's not always quite so glamorous for our young lifeguards on patrol at Rest Bay, in Porthcawl. In a video filmed by them, they show us some of the ups and downs of the last season.

Video Nation Wales enables members of the public to produce their own shorts for tv and/or the web. The stories reflect life across the country in all its rich diversity.

"I am a member of Rest Bay lifeguards and i think that the club and the beach are amazing beyond belief. The coaches are so friendly and welcoming. Rock on Rest Bay!" Claire, Bridgend, Nov 2007.
