"If I had to think about something that I love it would be shoes, they're great. Not only do they keep your feet warm and dry they can look cool, funky, extraordinary or stylish.
From a young age I've loved shoes, being the youngest of four it was always a big treat when buying your own. My favourite were a pair of ballet shoes (although I may not have been the greatest ballet dancer!) I suppose you could say behind every shoe there is a story. I've shoes for many occasions or days of the week. Pink shoes are definitely for Saturday night and dancing! My green shoes are a seventies relic of my mum's passed down to me. I don't wear them very often for the fear of falling over and making a lethal scratch on the sumptuous leather, instead they remain a work of shoe art for me to admire. Flip-flops are a reminder of hot summers and holidays, running across scorching sands with the waves lapping at your toes or exploring empty beaches as the sun sets. My trainers, they fit like a glove, sturdy and comforting. I've had them for ages now, once bold pink and red, now a bit worn and scruffy but I don't think I could ever get rid of them we've both been through so much. Then there's my new boots (a birthday present), so many exciting times ahead for us. And the oh-so-many pairs of shoes to purchase and the places you'll stroll.
If only shoes could talk..."
