About this interview
I think some of the words that people use are strange - er strange to other people from out of the area. There's all sorts o' different words - we know what we're talking about, but I don't think people from say London or the south seem to know what you're on about. They seem to know where you're from, I mean they say you're from the Midlands - I mean the there's a lot of people get us confused with Birmingham people - you know when you especially when you're abroad they say, "You from Birmingham?" (INT : But Birmingham's really different isn't it?) I know, that's what I thought, but I get that quite a lot - but we go to Birmingham a fair bit so whether you sorta get 'olt a that accent or not I don't know.
