We periodically review content across BBC websites such as History to ensure it is as clear, well-designed and user-friendly as possible. As a result of our latest review, we have carried out a complete redesign that has now been launched.

In the last few years, the number of people using larger monitors has increased dramatically. The updated Archaeology in-depth pages have been carefully designed so that they appear full-size on the most popular screen size of 1024 x 768 pixels.
