Turn Back Time - Penzance: Market Jew Street in Penzance has a long and interesting history which has been explored by community filmmakers as part of the BBC's Turn Back Time project.

The high street in Penzance is made up of three parts. Market Jew Street, Causewayhead and Chapel Street all come together at The Greemarket. In this film community filmmakers chart the history of Market Jew Street and describe the markets and events which brought people to town from the surrounding countryside. Market Jew Street was produced in partnership with awen productions, CSV in Cornwall and BBC Cornwall. Archive images were provided courtesy of Penlee House and Morrab Library.
