Headroom - Arts: Singing can change lives. Sing Your Heart Out is an award winning group based in Norfolk.
Sing Your Heart Out
Sing Your Heart Out is a singing workshop for people who want to enjoy the physical and mental benefits of singing. Penny Holden became involved with the group as a service user, and now helps to organise the weekly workshops. Their singing coach, Chrissy, aims to make the group's music accessible and enjoyable to all. The members don't have to be able to read music and some have visual impairments which mean they cannot even see the music, but they still take a full part in the singing. Staff and service users join together in the group which has won awards for it singing and has been the subject of a radio documentary.

I found your video heartwarming. I sing in a choir and am always encouraging people to 'give it a go'. Thank you for sharing your experience. I hope it inspires others!
