Robert remembers when traditional pursuits such as live football or the pictures used to be affordable fun for the working classes in Manchester. He says bureaucracy has squeezed the wages of long distance lorry drivers and he’s angry that the price of a football match means lots of people can no longer afford to watch a live game regularly.
