Gary Cox came from a mining family and both his father and grandfathers were miners. Today he is the chairman of a group who are campaigning to move the statue of a Kent coal miner from Dover seafront to the Miners' Way Trail where he believes it will get more appreciation from coal mining communities and heritage.
