When Elaine was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s it was a huge blow to her and her husband Mick. In response to her news Elaine took up running and feels it has helped.

RUNNING MY LIFE

Since being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Elaine has taken up running as way of coping. She feels it has helped her hold on to her independence. Her experience has driven her to complete the London Marathon to raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Society and Alzheimer's Research Trust.
