LABEL By Anna Tizzard
Anna had polio as a child, which left her with one leg partially wasted. But it makes her furious when people refer to disability as a handicap. She identifies herself as a swimmer with a disability or a professional secretary who walks with a limp. Who you are and what you do should come before your disability.
Your thoughts about this video
Anna is certainly not "handicapped". We
all need such a positive self-image.
