DESENSITIZED
By Rod Williams
We're getting 24 hour news coverage of the war in Iraq, which feels like Big Brother to Rod. As he turns over he sees programmes like It Ain't Half Hot Mum and M*A*S*H. This war is a strange and fictionalized war. The war feels very nicely polished and presented - both entertainment and image. We get experts rather than seeing the horror of war, but would that make us desensitized?
