By Manjula Sood
Leicester Councillor Manjula Sood has not been back to her hometown of Delhi for almost a decade, and has decided to make the journey as India approaches the 60th anniversary of it's independence. She plans to meet up with her mother who was in Delhi the night Independence was declared, and hopes to explore how spirituality and women's issues are progressing in the new, modern India. In her first film, follow Manjula as she prepares to leave for Delhi, and catch her initial thoughts as she arrives back in the country she left so long ago.
