CHRISTMAS PAST
By Margaret Robbins
Margaret and Tom remember Christmas of old. The anticipation of Christmas, when they were younger, was better than the day itself. Margaret tells of how she dodged the people she didn't want to kiss under the mistletoe!

I don't come from your neck of the woods but I do remember the kisses under the mistletoe and dodging the fellows we didn't like. We didn't have sugar pigs but sugar mice and yes they were kept year after year. I also remember tiger nuts and spanish wood brought for one old pennie each in London. Thank you for your nice shared memory. Blessings.
