LIFEBOAT
By Alec Moore
He's been a volunteer for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution based at Barrow for 35 years but Coxswain Alec Moore still gets an adrenaline rush when an emergency is called. Saving lives in the Irish Sea is a thankless and dangerous task but it's one family tradition Alec is unlikely to give up.
