COFFEE MORNING
By Margaret Jones
Like Stephen Fry, Margaret suffers from bipolar disorder and gets depressed and has manic episodes.

Something which has been instrumental in helping Margaret turn her life around is a women’s coffee morning organised by a fell service user she met when she was in Garlands Hospital. It was her dream that women could have a morning where they could drop-in, have a coffee or tea and chat about everyday things, and hopefully aid their recovery.

Margaret finds this social event has a peace and tranquillity which far outweighs other services she has tried.
