Jackie Morrison

My name is Jackie Morrison and, although I lived and worked in Belfast for a number of years, I always yearned to return to my roots – tae cum bak hame tae Bushmill.

Nowadays, I’m a teaching Principal in Balnamore Primary School, outside Ballymoney, where the language and culture is intrinsically Ulster-Scots.

My interest in Ulster-Scots has simply always been there - for it’s pairt o mae, o iz an oors. It daes mae hairt guid tae hear mae aine tongue aa roon mae.
