Anne Morrison-Smyth

Hi. My name is Anne Morrison-Smyth. I have lived in Ballymoney all my life and now work as a Development Officer in the Ullans Centre on Victoria Street in the town.

I have always had a great interest in the history of my culture and a terrific pride in my language, which I refer to as Ullans.

I am a member of the ‘Kingdom of Dalriada’ and the ‘Ullans Speakers’ groups which are both based in Ballymoney. The two groups have a growing membership.

I enjoy presenting A Kist o Wurds as it gives me the chance to further the promotion of the Ullans Language.

One of my favourite sayings at the minute is… “Some taak aboot it: we jest taak it!”
