Santer Series 1 - Ulster-Scots dancing and kilt-making in Bready
James Kee shows us the townland of Sollus and shares the historical background of Bready near Strabane.
Dance teacher Georgina Kee tells us how her grandmother Gretta Campbell makes kilts - and shows us a few costumes that she has made.
James describes the origins of the dances ‘The Highland Fling’; ‘Flora McDonald’s Fancy’ (the Scottish version of the Irish Jig) and ‘The Sailor’s Hornpipe’. (Broadcast: Wed 17 Nov 2010)
