Dr Carol Baraniuk on Robert Burns

To commemorate the life and work of Robert Burns, on the 250th anniversary of his birth, the Centre for Robert Burns Studies, Department of Scottish Literature, and the University of Glasgow hosted a three day conference from 15th to 17th January 2009.

Carol Baraniuk, University of Glasgow, wrote a paper called ‘Still partial to the Scotch Muse: The Reception of Burns in Post-Union Ulster’, which she presented at the ‘Burns and Ireland’ conference. She tells Charlie Gillen a bit more about it (Broadcast 24th January 2009).
