Title: Man from Mars

Many people who speak with artificial voiceboxes have difficulty communicating with people who don't know them.

Telephone calls can be very difficult, if the person at the other end is not expecting to hear speech produced with an artificial voicebox.

Sometimes callers think it's a joke and become quite insulting. Bert has been called a robot, the talking clock and the man from mars.
