Title: Cat

A few years ago Bert had his larynx (voicebox) removed, because he had cancer. He now speaks with an artificial larynx, which is used by placing it on his neck when he speaks. The artificial larynx is fine for ordinary conversations, but isn't very good for shouting.

This has led to a number of changes in Bert's life ... including how he communicates with his cat.
