Susan's Sing Live diary: 2
The ladies from Reminiscence
Susan and friends from her group, Reminiscence

Well, we made it through the blizzards and the cold to get to another rehearsal, which was well worth the effort.

Gary had us all singing 'Hi Ho', as in The Seven Dwarfs - not sure if that made him Snow White!

However, the reason for this was to get us to practice singing an octave.

We then tried 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow', which I think would be easier to learn the
words to than 'At The End of The Day'. Is anyone else having the same trouble as me?

quote I have just got my letter to confirm the Albert Hall (told you I always manage to bring it in to the conversation!) quote

I know the words for 'At The End of The Day' should be 'older' in the first verse and 'colder' in the next and then 'another day dawning' in the last, but the bits in between are all getting muddled up! Even I'm sick of hearing me singing it.

I have just got my letter to confirm the Albert Hall (told you I always manage to bring it in to the conversation!), but I'm trying not to get too
carried away, as I know that I need to do a lot of work for the City Hall first.

I'm really looking forward to hearing the solos in the next few weeks and also practicing with the orchestra!!!

See you all on Thursday!
