Kevin Gilroy
Kevin on stage before the concert

Kevin Gilroy wowed the audience with his solo singing at Newcastle City Hall on 8 March 2003, especially when he sang his main solo, Gethsemane.

He's now looking forward to singing at the Albert Hall in May.

Last diary entry for Sing the Musicals - roll on the Albert Hall!

Saturday was our performance at the City Hall and didn't we do well!!!

quote Every single person on that stage should be very very proud of themselves quote

It was absolutely FANTASTIC: the choir, the soloists, the orchestra, the lighting, the sound. In fact everything about the whole day was a brilliant success.

Every single person on that stage should be very very proud of themselves.

John (John Morris - founder of Sing Live) told us you judge the success of a concert or performance on the way in which the audience reacts. Well, the cheers and standing ovation we received tell me that we did a good job!!! They will be queuing up for tickets for the September show.

Singing Gethsemane was a real buzz. From the comments made afterwards, I think I did OK, even though I had a mouth as dry as Ghandi's flip flops.

We're rehearsing now for the Albert Hall on 4 May 2003, which is also our first wedding anniversary.

Not many people can say they celebrated their first wedding anniversary singing together at the Royal Albert Hall!
