FACTS

Getting organised the night before will make it easier for you to get up and go. Don't forget baby's changing bag, bibs and any food or bottles he requires.

Where possible, travel to an activity during baby's nap time. That way both you and baby will get more out of the visit, as he will arrive refreshed from his sleep.

Don't try to cram in too much, better to take baby home whilst he's still happy than overdo it and have a screaming baby in the car on the way home.

Your days out
Have you been to an activity with your baby that you've really enjoyed? Perhaps you've been to one featured here. Why not use the form below to tell us about it?

Terry James, North Shields
I am Mum to Charlotte aged 9 months. We go to Picollo every week, and she loves it. Charlotte spends most of the session smiling at Abbie and Anna. Last week she crawled away to sit with the girls and clap her hands. I was so proud!
