holds a 400 seat theatre, two gallery spaces, two classrooms and

Craft Collection is a dazzling display of the latest glass, ceramics,
textiles and furniture. Made in Gateshead takes a look
at the town's industry, its people and their skills. There's also
a craft reference library.

Essential info: The University Gallery is recognised as a public
gallery with an annual average attendance of 80,000 visitors. It
presents a programme of temporary exhibitions by artists of national
and international reputation, as well as exhibitions by lesser known,
promising artists.

by leading contemporary British artists including, for example,
Norman Adams, Peter Greenham, Sean Scully, Albert Irvin and Victor
