Wearmouth-Jarrow heritage

The twin Anglo-Saxon monastery Wearmouth-Jarrow is the UK's nomination for World Heritage Site status in 2009. The UK nomination means that Wearmouth-Jarrow could join the like of the Taj Mahal and Pyramids as a World Heritage Site by 2010.
