Helen is a full-time mum and loves being there to watch her children grow up - but she wouldn't mind the odd lunch break!

I'm a 40-year-old full-time mum of two children. I used to be a nursery nurse and worked for Sure Start.

What are your hopes and fears for 2009?

I fear for my family becoming seriously ill. I hope for world peace!

What's the best thing about your job?

Seeing my children reach each milestone.

What's the worst thing about your job?

No lunch break!

What makes you angry?

Litter. Cruelty to children. Cars parked on the pavement. Rude people.

Describe yourself in three words.

Generous, caring, sensitive.

What's your proudest achievement?

My two children.

What's your greatest regret?

I should have become a midwife.

Where do you go when you want to think/be alone?

The coast.

What single change would improve your life most?

A cure for all cancers!

What couldn't you live without?

Red wine.

Who would you most enjoy being stuck in a lift with?

Daniel Craig and Jimmy Doherty.
