I am a single mum to Karra. I volunteer for Sure Start and Cowgate Forum. I am also blind.

What are your hopes and fears for 2009?

To get a good job for a better future for me and my daughter.

What makes you angry?

People who discriminate against other people for disability and race.

What do you love/hate about where you live?

I love the fact that my family live close.

I hate the crime and youth disorder.

Describe yourself in three words.

Fun, sensitive, outgoing.

What couldn't you live without?

Mobile phone.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

Rich.

What's the best thing about you?

I am a good friend.

What's your proudest achievement?

Having my daughter.

What do you think about your family?

I love them even though they are irritating sometimes.

What was your first job?

YTS working in a school. 

What keeps you awake at night?

I worry a lot.

Who would you most enjoy being stuck in a lift with?

Simon Cowell.

What's your happiest memory?

Karra's christening.

What single change would improve your life most?

Getting a job so money wouldn't be as tight.

Where do you go when you want to think/be alone?

The bath.

What's your worst memory?

Grandparents' death.
