The Great North Run: Timelapse videos

Check out these amazing timelapse videos of the finish line at the Great North Run 2006, and the route of the run.

On Sunday 1 October 2006, over 50,000 people ran in the Great North Run. That's a lot of people. And if we wanted to show the whole race, you'd be there for hours watching it all. That's a lot of time!

But we have the answer. Check out our amazing video of the finish line, recorded between 10am and 4pm, and see the runners cross that line. And all in one minute flat!

And if you want to relive every stage of the Run, check out our timelapse video that takes you through the course in just a minute and a half!
