I have been living in Bogota, Colombia for a year now and will probably be here for a few more!

Interesting place to live is Colombia.

Apart from the obvious problems, the Colombians are some of the friendliest people you can meet.

Food is v good here, but the beer is nothing to write home about - 6 or 7 versions of lager and that is about it.

Cost of living is cheap though which helps the pennies (and beer vouchers) go further!

The women are some of the best looking on the planet, so that is a definite plus.

Diving and fishing is good, and cheap. But stay away from that marching powder, if you do not want to end up on an extended holiday in a considerably less than salubrious local lock-up!

I was born in Rothbury and grew up in Newbiggin.

Mostly I miss the football and rugby, along with the beer and stotties!

come back home bonny lad thet have3 knocked the brewery down in the town so broon ale is now being made in the fed brewery in dunston crying shame. hope your having a great time there this countrys went from bad to worse your better off where you are mate. all the best and ill think of you when im supping me broon eric

hope u r enjoing columbia.I have being living in Tenerife for ten years beer and stoitties are here as well,also good looking women & marching powder. Its not columbia , but its not newbiggin either. GOOD LUCK ,HAG.
