As part of this exclusive session, school children across the country posed their astronomy questions directly to one of the nation's favourite science teachers, Professor Brian Cox.
Professor Cox presented 'You, the Universe and Me' - a live, interactive lesson from Jodrell Bank in collaboration with The Big Bang Fair, as schools from around the UK joined in here on the Stargazing website and via BBC Red Button.
Inspiring a new generation of budding astronomers and scientists, Brian discussed the Higgs-Boson, the size of the Universe and his personal experience as a scientist.
Engaging videos and fantastic teaching resources to bring astronomy to life in the classroom - find out more in the Schools section.
