Phoning for recipe tips
Each week, the Saturday Kitchen production team will take up to three phone calls from members of the public who wish to seek advice on food ingredients or get recipe tips from the Saturday Kitchen host and guest chefs.
If you make it through we'll also be asking you on-air whether you think our celebrity guest should get their 'food heaven' or 'food hell'. We usually receive far more calls than we can take on the programme so be aware that your call may not be put through to the studio.
Question line guidelines
- 1.The question line is available by telephone. The number to be used will be announced on the Saturday Kitchen programme between 10.00am and 11.00am on Saturdays.
- 2. The question line will open and close as specified above. Calls received outside the specified times may still be charged. Opening and closing times may change subject to programme transmission time changing.
- 3. Please note that due to the anticipated volume of calls, only a proportion of questions will be able to be answered during the programme, so please be aware that your question may not be used.
- 4. The BBC reserves the right to cancel or suspend the question line at any time.
- 5. Each telephone call costs 10 pence per minute from a BT landline. Calls from mobiles and other networks may be higher.
- 6. Callers must obtain permission from the bill payer before calling.
- 7. Callers will either have their call answered by a member of the production team who will take down their comment or question, or they will be able to leave their comment on an automated system. As stated above we will not be able to respond to every call.
- 8. The BBC, its sub-contractors, subsidiaries and/or agencies cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem with any telephone network or line, system, server, provider or otherwise which may result in any call being lost or not recorded.
