Alexander Armstrong

Alexander rose to prominence as the taller half of comedy duo Armstrong and Miller, with his Cambridge Footlights pal Ben Miller. The boys are onto their sixth series together, while Alexander has also been seen on the box in Life Begins, Saxondale and The Trial of Tony Blair. These days he's also known as a presenter, popping up regularly on Have I Got News for You, hosting the BBC One quiz Pointless and the new comedy game show Epic Win.

Worst weather experience

"20th July 2007 - it rained constantly, it felt like six months' worth of rain in the space of two hours. On that day I moved back into a flat I'd just had renovated. The place was flooded!"
