Grandma's House
Simon Amstell is to make his writing and acting debut in Grandma's House, a new sitcom on BBC Two.
Simon has penned the series with Dan Swimer who he previously worked with on PopWorld and Never Mind The Buzzcocks.
Inspired by Simon Amstell's own life, each episode visits his family at his Grandma's House in Essex.
Simon will be joined by a fantastic ensemble cast including: Linda Bassett as Grandma, Geoffrey Hutchings as Grandpa, Rebecca Front as Mum and Nicola Walker as Auntie Liz.
The six episode series will start filming in Feburary 2010 and transmit later in the year.
