Sham 69 Hurry Up Harry
Sham 69Considering it was touted as the music of the disaffected masses, punk had it's fair share of bourgeoisie mockney pseuds, but Sham 69 were proles through and through.

Don't believe us? Just listen to 'Hurry Up Harry', taken from their second 1978 album, 'That's Life'. The song is a clarion call to your good old boy to take his rightful place down the pub. How considerate. charming!

What with it's Chas & Dave piano interlude, the danger of a right old cockney knees up is never far away, and you can't get more "dahan to earf" than that, surely!
