So, stifle those yawns, people, here we go...

Backstage at a recent concert by Dirty Pretty Things, Liam was teasing a singer called Tom Atkin, who is in a band called the Paddingtons. There's been a sort of history of tension between the two as Tom called Liam old and out of touch in the NME a while ago and Liam, well, Liam's quite a tense fella, isn't he?

Anyway, according to Tom, the two of them sort of squared up, ready to make with The Act Of War and stuff, but nothing really happened.

Tom told the Mirror: "Liam was having a go at every opportunity. In the end I told him to grow up."

And apparently that worked. You'd think someone would've tried that tack before now, eh?

Tom went on: "Noel's a great songwriter, but Liam's a toothless t***."

Attaboy Tom, you really showed him how to be grown up there...
