The Didster was appearing on the US TV show Jimmy Kimmel Live this week, and they cooked up a little sketch in which he not only mocked Kanye for suggesting that MTV had "lost credibility" for not giving him the gong, but also had a go at country star Faith Hill.

Faith had been spotted looking distinctly unhappy to have not won Female Vocalist Of The Year at this year's Country Music Awards, so the skit started with P pretending he'd been nominated in the same category. After the real winner - Carrie Underwood, if you're bothered - had been announced, he leapt to his feet and began shouting...

"Hell, no! I know y'all ain't saying what I think you just said. Put the camera on me, man, I am country music! When the Country Music Awards does not give Diddy an award, the Country Music Awards loses all credibility."

Which was followed by a pitcher being smashed over someone's head, and a great big faux-diva-stropout, in which the Didster yells You better give me my m***********g award, you country m***********s!".

And you know, if ever there was an award for best sendup of a grumpy pop star in a TV show, and Diddy failed to win, he'd have every right to do that exact same stropout for real.
