According to the Mirror, Pete was rushed to casualty yesterday, not for brawling or fighting or anything like that...but after getting his fiancée Kate Moss' engagement ring stuck on his finger. (You at the back, stop laughing!)

And if that wasn't bad enough, the Babyshambles star's digit swelled up so much the 50,000 pound sparkler had to be cut off.

Pete was later seen leaving hospital with a bandaged finger and a sheepish look on his face.

A snitch blabbed:"He was in complete agony. Now the band will have to be patched up by a jeweller."

And he's not talking about Babyshambles either...
