Taking a leaf out of large-lipped Angelina Jolie's book, the dancing queen has adopted a 13-month-old baby called David from an orphanage in Malawi.

According to the Sun, Madge made two visits to the church-run Home For Hope orphanage outside Mchinji, near the Zambian border, and it was love at first sight.

A source at the home said little Davie won the singer's heart during an hour-long play session: "Madonna was shown a number of pictures of boys at the orphanage but fell for David. She played with him on the floor and took him to the church. She also carried him on her back, which was very symbolic as that is the way Malawian mothers carry their children."
