Leftover Oasis
Oasis promised they'd never release a Greatest Hits, but sure enough 'Stop the Clocks' is coming out Nov 20th and, ooh look, its tracklist contains many of their hits, but not all, so you could perhaps say it only includes their greatest hits. If you were inclined to say such a thing. Which we're not.
Anyway, there will be new Oasis material after this compilation...or will there?
Noel told the tabs: "We've got so much left over from our last album, Don't Believe The Truth. I reckon there is enough material for two or three albums."
Wait a minute. We're getting a compilation of old stuff now, followed by an album of stuff that wasn't good enough for 'Don't Believe The Truth', followed by an album of stuff that wasn't good enough to make either 'Don't Believe The Truth' or its sequel, and then possibly a third collection made up of scrapings from the very bottom of the barrel?
Wow. We can hardly wait. Really.
