Pop maestros the Automatic have launched a verbal attack on the bedsit bohemian of Tooting, Miss Sandi Thom. Feel the lash of their critical tongue!

Rob from the band vented to Popworld.com: "We hate Sandi Thom. I haven't found anyone who's told me they like that song and bought it."

Maybe he's mixing with the wrong crowd.

Guitarist James concluded with some eloquence, "If she was a punk rocker with flowers in her hair she'd get the s*** kicked out of her by other punk rockers, for having flowers in her hair."

Well that's that, then. Mind you, Sandi wasn't the only one who was on the stinging end of the bands' tongue. Keyboardist, Alex had saved a bit of venom for indie rocksters Razorlight.

When asked who they'd back in a fight between the Kooks and Razorlight, he said: "If the Kooks had a fight with Razorlight we'd definitely help them out. The Kooks would probably win because there's a big queue of people that wanna hit Johnny Borell anyway. I don't think Razorlight would mind as much 'cos their faces look pretty battered anyway."
