Now imagine what it might be like if you were a legitimately poorly popstar and your doctor thought it was all down to your 'lifestyle' - that's what happened to Michelle Liberty X.

'Chelle took herself to hospital in February because she'd been experiencing chest pains, only to find the doctors were a little unsympathetic. She told The Sun: "The doctor told me, 'Drugs cause palpitations.' I said, 'But I don't do drugs.'"

Fortunately after that, the docs took her problem slightly more seriously, and she's currently having to wear a heart monitor for a week so that they can keep a close eye on her condition.

She told the tab: "I may have to take medication or have heart surgery."

We hope the results bring good news, but in the meantime we'll just say: get well soon 'Chelle!
