Sometimes we think that there is absolutely nothing in the world of pop that could surprise us any more. We've seen all kinds of weird couplings-up, and we reckon we wouldn't bat an eyelid if Liz McClarnon started dating Chico, or if Kanye West went on a date with Noel Gallagher. But Tatu chasing after Lee Ryan? And him saying no? That one FLOORED us.
According to the Mirror, Lee was picking up gongs for Man Of The Year and Song Of The Year (for 'Army Of Lovers') at the Italian MTV TRL awards, when the wily Russian duo - notorious for those lesbian-themed videos - started chatting him up.
A source told the paper: "He was shocked by the interest from the Tatu girls and thought they were having him on. But he enjoys a challenge and spent ages humouring them." Apparently, after a while the girls admitted defeat and moved on.
Hold on a minute - Lee Ryan gets hit on by two girls at once. And he says no? Did we bang our heads this morning and fall into Bizarro Popworld? This makes NO sense whatsoever...
