And that's not all. Bling insiders in the Jay camp have blabbed to the Mirror that he also bought her a £300,000 watch to match. Which seems a little on the cheap side, frankly.

Anyway, Jay's spending has gone into hyperdrive as he prepares for a whistle-stop splurgeathon in London this week. The Mirror's snoop described Jay's fancy plans, saying: "As soon as he touches down he's heading to a gig at Cafe de Paris in the West End, where he's throwing a bash for his new protege on his Roc-A-Fella record label, Teairra Mari. He's letting 200 fans in and they've been queueing all weekend. Jay will then move on to the St Martin's Lane Hotel, to celebrate the launch of the autumn/winter range of his Rocawear fashion label.""

Then Jay is going to be named International Man of the Year at the GQ magazine awards, and will obviously be splashing out a bit to celebrate that. He's hired London swank-club Movida for a knees-up after the ceremony. The cost of the whole trip? Another million.

The Mirror spy continued: "It's costing Jay £500,000 for the Movida party. It's being kept top secret as it'll be quite a bash and he wants to keep it exclusive. When he's in town it's quite a scene and everyone's hoping that at Movida, he'll let his hair down and perform."
