Live Du-8
It's either your idea of musical heaven or as inviting as being rubbed down with a cheese-grater by Rik Waller. The Sun has announced that pop stalwarts Sting and Madonna are to perform a duet at the forthcoming Live 8 gig.
The tab's source declared: "They have had a discussion about performing a cover version. They thought about a Beatles song or maybe 'Imagine'". Her Madge-sty performed a version of the Lennon classic in her sellout concerts last year, but it got a mixed reaction from fans.
In other duet news, Robbie Williams is rumoured to be pairing up with Queen, replacing the late Freddie Mercury who stole the show back at the original concert in 1985. Rumours that Robbie will be dressed in skin-tight jeans, a close-fitting vest and a sporting handlebar moustache have yet to be confirmed!
