| TOTP: Come on then, give us your dating tips...
Keisha: One thing you should do when you're dating is go with your first instincts. Cos I think we all get a gut feeling, and sometimes we listen to them, but most of the time we ignore them.
Heidi: And sometimes it's wrong to listen to what everyone else is telling you. It can be a bad thing.
Keisha: My mother always says "Don't listen to your heart, listen to your head." Cos your feelings tell you one thing, but then your head always knows the answer.

TOTP: What are the dating don'ts?
Heidi: I think a don't for dating is to be really full-on and seem like you're really keen. I don't think it's right to play games. Like, waiting a week before you call them back. I think it's wrong to be full-on, because you could scare them away. [To Keisha and Amelle] What are you two laughing at?
Keisha: Did you hear what you said?
Amelle: "Don't put a week on it..."
Keisha: You know what I'm talking about. I can't say on camera. You know...
Heidi: I don't know the ins and outs.
Keisha: What are you talking about? I can't say on camera... you know what I'm talking about...
Heidi: I don't know. You've been telling her but you've not been telling me.
Keisha: [Makes a sort of disbelieving noise]... You know what? I think the less pressure the better. It's good to go on a date with two people, but it's also good to go out with a group of friends. There's not so much pressure that way...
Heidi: Yeah but there can be though. Cos you might feel like the group are watching you.
Keisha: Not if you come with your group of friends.
Heidi: Yeah but then that might make him feel intimidated.
Keisha: Maybe...
Heidi: Personally, I think it's better if it's just the two of you.
Amelle: Like a club or something. Or a bar...
Heidi: Don't go somewhere really quiet. Go somewhere where it's relaxed and a bit busy, but not too busy.
Keisha: And always bring your own money. My friend went on a date the other day, and she didn't bring any money cos she thought he'd pay. And he was like: "Where's your half?" when it got to the bill.
Amelle: No!
Keisha: My friend had to ditch him. She was really embarrassed by that. But she was able to drive home. So if you don't drive, it's always good to make arrangments to get home.
Amelle: Money for a taxi.

TOTP: What's the lamest post-date excuse you've used?
Heidi: I've been on a first date and really not liked the guy, and I know it's not very nice, but I've just ignored their calls afterwards. Cos you don't have the heart to say: "I don't really like you." I've never done one of those things like get one of your mates to call you so you have to go. I think that's a bit cruel. You should at least say "Thank you for a nice evening," and then...
Amelle: ...go and not answer his calls.
TOTP: What's the worst thing to realise halfway through a date?
Heidi: A friend of mine went on a blind date with a guy, and she really didn't like him from the first moment. And this guy kept trying to be funny, and he kept saying "D'oh!" from the Simpsons.
Amelle: Oh no!
Heidi: She said, it just made her cringe every time he did it.
Amelle: That would make me cringe. Just shut up, mate!

TOTP: How dirty is too dirty on the dancefloor?
Keisha: I can dance with a guy, but I don't do the whole hands on my butt thing. That's not me at all. Me not even being in a relationship now, I wouldn't... Maybe when I was about 14 I might have done something like that, but as you get older I think you get, probably a bit more respectful towards your body. The hands on the butt thing is a no no. The leg in between the leg is a no no. There's needs to be a comfortable gap between people. I don't want anything rubbing on my leg. I really don't.
TOTP: Any wardrobe malfunctions on a date?
Amelle: I split my trousers once. You know when you do that sort of thing where you land on the floor. I ripped them all the way. You could see everything. Not just a little one. My boyfriend got his suit jacket and I tied it round my waist for the rest of the night.
TOTP: You stayed?
Amelle: I did, yeah.
TOTP: Boys have lucky pants. What do Sugababes have?
Heidi: I think for a girl, you always feel nice going on a date if you've taken your time getting ready. If you've had to rush, and you feel all flustered...
Keisha and Amelle: [Laugh]
Heidi: What?
Keisha: [Laughing] Flustered...
Heidi: It's a word!
Keisha: Sorry, go on...
Heidi: I always feel like I have to take my time. If you've got to rush then you don't feel nice.
TOTP: What do you do to prepare for a date?
Keisha: I always like to get a pedicure and a manicure. I always do a bath and a shower. I can never have a bath and not have a shower. Cos a shower wakes you up so I always do that. You need time to eat. Couple of hours before because I have an issue with bloating, depending on what I'm wearing. I need to lay on my back for a couple of hours, so that the food can sink. I think it works.
TOTP: Is that a problem often?
Keisha: It's a problem every day. Glass of water? BLOAT! Breathe too deep? BLOAT!

TOTP: Has anyone chatted you up using Sugababes lyrics?
Keisha: When 'Freak Like Me' came out there was a couple saying "I'll be your freak," but 'Push The Button' has been the worst. "I'd like to push your button," and "Are you gonna push my button?" and "Oooh! I wanna push your button." That whole pushing the button thing? Fellas, please, stop it. It's embarrassing.
TOTP: Show us your pulling face?
Heidi: I hate it when we do photoshoots and they say "Do a sexy face." I just feel stupid. I'd much rather just stand there and put a smile on.
Keisha: [To Amelle] I think you got something.
Amelle: [Uncomfortable] I don't.
Keisha: [To Amelle] I feel like you got something. I don't know. Amelle's got a good one. She did it in the video for 'Red Dress'.
Amelle: [Still uncomfortable] I don't know...
Keisha: You know, that little tongue thing...
Amelle: [More uncomfortable] Nah. Not me.
